AMSA Medicals Available

Devonport Family Medical Centre is offering AMSA medicals for seafarers and maritime workers, with appointments available Monday to Friday.

The clinic has multiple doctors who are trained and certified through AMSA to conduct AMSA medical examinations, including assessments required for the AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness (303) and STCW certification.

An AMSA medical assesses your general health and fitness for work at sea, and may include checks such as blood pressure, vision, colour vision, hearing and other relevant examinations, depending on your circumstances and role.

With AMSA-approved medical appointments not available at every medical practice, Devonport Family Medical Centre provides a convenient local option for maritime workers in Devonport and surrounding areas.

Appointments are generally available within 7–10 business days.
